Our Small Business Feature That Makes Gift Giving Joyful!

by TheSpot November 30, 2024
written by TheSpot
Small Business Saturday

The autumn season is well underway and it’s a time of transition in many ways.  The leaves turn colors, preparing for end of year finances, budgeting for the holidays, and overall reflecting on our past and future goals.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaigns descend in blitz mode especially here in the U.S. almost as a nature calling of the impending holiday season.  Small Business Saturday has carved out its own little niche as a gentle reminder that sometimes less is more.  More and more, we are recognizing the importance of shopping small as a show of support but also adding meaning to well intentioned thought and effort of gift giving.  What do we mean by that?  Well connecting is part of the human experience.  Connecting with our neighbors, our community, and family makes us feel good, right?  At least it’s supposed to.  When we practice uplifting the important people in our lives, we uplift ourselves.

The past few years, The Spot Magazine has met many business owners that are creating livelihoods to provide everyday experiences.  By creating experiences, they are creating joy not only for themselves but for others.  That’s why we put together a list of small business owners who are creating this type of joy that is unique and special.  More importantly, they are part of our beloved community working hard to bring all of those qualities to you.

Field and Flock Lavender Farm

We visited Field and Flock Lavender Farm in Woodstown, NJ and we instantly fell in love with the farm.  Lavender season is on full display during the months of July and August but owners, George and Kimberly, work year round providing high quality lavender products.  Products are sold right in their farm location but it is a worthwhile experience to pick up hand crafted gifts surely delighting recipients…or yourself for that matter.  My personal favorites are the luxurious body cream and cocoa powder! https://thespotmagazine.com/?s=field+and+flock

Care Package Bakes

Care Package Bakes was founded by home baker, Elisa Ludwig.  We visited her home and received a warm welcome.  An author and writer, Elisa created a unique concept by transforming her passion for baking into a small batch baking business.  Her assorted baked treats are the perfect bite size melt in your mouth bits of heaven.  What is especially unique is that Elisa incorporates seasonal ingredients and combinations of flavors that compliment the season or simply create something entirely new.  No matter what you choose out of the box, your senses will surely thank you. https://thespotmagazine.com/?s=care+package

Morning Glori Farmette

The Spot Magazine visited the farm and we met Angela who shared a little of her story on how she and husband Brian, began the farm.  She now has a growing brood and the farm enjoys many activities and events for kids and adults alike.  Why not sponsor an alpaca?  Cuties like Willow, Hershey, and Maribelle will steal your heart but you’ll never be too far away.  You can find so many personalized gifts in stuffed animals, mittens, scarves, hats and so much more.  Items made from  the very best alpaca wool are sustainable and support not only the farm but the surrounding community.  A must add on your checklist! https://thespotmagazine.com/?s=morning+gl

Multi Media Audio

We met and spoke to Megan Negron Dalton, co-owner, of audio engineering company, Multi Media Audio.  We loved featuring Megan and how she is breaking barriers in the audio space.  Why this would make this a great gift?  One of the features of Multi Media Audio,in addition to providing audio engineering services for music and film, is that they are heavily involved in all forms of audio content.  Want to start a podcast?  Megan has you covered.  Do you want to uplevel your content creation?  Multi Media Audio can certainly help you out with that.  If we have a loved one who is trying to break in the biz, sometimes a little extra help can go a long way.  A session or consultation is a great gift for helping a loved one get one step closer to realizing their dreams.  https://thespotmagazine.com/?s=multi+media

Adore Redecor

Jennifer Armstrong has a passion for upcycling antique furniture.  So much so that when she left the corporate world, Jennifer turned her hobby into a local enterprise.  You can find Jennifer on Instagram under Adore Redecor.  What we love about Jennifer is that she offers a unique service in refinishing and upcycling quality furniture, but offers an array of inside knowledge and tips on antique shopping and DIY projects.  All you have to do is look around and rather than throwing out good quality furniture or dinnerware passed down from previous generations, give those prized possessions new life.  Jennifer can help you do that or give valuable insight about vintage shopping for one of a kind gifts that have history and a story to tell.  https://thespotmagazine.com/?s=adore+redecor

Botanically Blurred

Have you ever thought of having your own house or commercial plant stylist?  We found one in Alexa Fornicola.  Alexa is founder of Botanically Blurred, a commercial and residential plant design and maintenance company.  Alexa’s super power is taking in several factors such as your space, lifestyle, and personality to combine these ingredients and voilá!  Sounds simple but Alexa has a gift in curating your space into an oasis that is an extension of you.  You and your own unique beautiful self.  Looking for a sentimental housewarming gift?  Give the gift of plants and an actual designer to come with it!  https://thespotmagazine.com/?s=botanically+blurred

Regardless of how and where you shop, if you take a moment and see all the wonderful small businesses around you, there is nothing like picking up a gift that gives a sense of comfort, warmth, friendship, or love like giving something that is unique, memorable, and a story that is uniquely and lovable you.

Spread Love with Homemade Treats: A Home Baker’s Inspirational Story

by TheSpot May 15, 2024
written by TheSpot
Care Package Bakes Treats

It was a bright crisp day when I headed towards a charming Main Line neighborhood for a meeting. Upon reaching the delightful Philadelphia suburb residence, I hoped it was the correct address. Elisa Ludwig, the proprietor of Care Package Bakes, warmly invited me inside. The vibrant decor immediately caught my attention as we exchanged a few words before making our way to the kitchen. I was immediately in awe as the kitchen exuded openness, brightness, and warmth- a baker’s dream for creating memorable care packages. A sense of peace washed over me instantly. Elisa’s creations were meticulously displayed, colorful, visually appealing, and beautifully packaged. I was delighted to meet Elisa, having been impressed by her Instagram page. Elisa is a home baker specializing in crafting “care packages” filled with homemade treats.

Like many women, she transformed her passion into a thriving business. Elisa’s love for baking began in her youth, influenced by her mother who worked as a caterer and cafe owner. She gained valuable culinary knowledge and basic skills, as well as understanding the importance of presentation. Elisa attributes her ability to prioritize visual appeal in food to her early experiences. She commenced her career as a food writer for various publications in Philadelphia, where she also tested recipes and refined her culinary expertise. Elisa stresses the significance of these testing experiences in her journey.

Elisa Ludwig, Home Baker

During the pandemic, Elisa, like many other parents, had to put her own products on hold in order to prioritize her son’s schoolwork. In addition, Elisa and her husband had to give up their love for entertaining at home., as that part of their lives came to a halt. However, amidst the isolation, Elisa found moments of inspiration that led her back to her first love, baking, as a means of reconnecting with others. She believed that baking could serve as a conduit to reunite with her friends. Interestingly, Elisa humorously refers to herself as the “neighborhood baking lady.” What started as an idea quickly gained momentum. We discussed how life was before and after the pandemic, and starting her own business became a way for Elisa to establish connections with people. She takes pleasure in creating her baked goods for various individuals.

Elisa emphasizes the significance of quality in her product. She produces her goods in small quantities and dedicates time to carefully select specific and high-quality ingredients. According to her, her treats are not merely meant for mindless consumption, but rather to provide an exceptional experience. Her objective is to evoke emotions and foster the sharing of special occasions. Elisa’s range of offerings includes raspberry and chocolate chip strawberry cookies, coconut cakes with marshmallow frosting, and a seasonal assortment that is constantly changing. Elisa expresses that her business serves as her creative outlet and brings her immense satisfaction. So, where does Elisa find inspiration for her creations? She draws inspiration from her mother’s recipes and enjoys experimenting with different combinations. For Elisa, the joy lies in the process of creating and personalizing her treats.

We were given the chance to bring home our very own assortment of treats, and we can confidently say that each treat offered a delightful explosion of distinct flavors and textures. Every bite is meant to be relished, as no two treats are alike. If you’re looking to give a gift or commemorate a special person or occasion in a truly exceptional way, Care Package Bakes is the shop you should reach out to. We advise against waiting too long, as the news is spreading! They were recently honored as the Best of Philly Home Bakery in 2022 and were also featured on Fox 29 Good Philadelphia. You can watch the video showcasing their creations here. https://www.fox29.com/video/1430637. Elisa crafts treat boxes, boards, and favors that can be shipped anywhere in the U.S., or you can opt for their pick-up and delivery service. The Philly Way to Unapologetic Living: Why Amanda Yoa’s Wisdom Is Exactly What Every Woman Needs Right Now

by TheSpot May 10, 2025
written by TheSpot
Amanda Yoa

Ever notice how we spend our thirties and forties collecting roles like they’re limited edition Sephora products? Mom. Wife. Career woman. Caretaker. Household CEO. Pinterest-fail baker. Meanwhile, somewhere beneath the dry shampoo and concealer (bless whoever invented those), we’re still trying to remember who we actually are. Enter Amanda Yoa—the permission slip you didn’t know you needed.

The Woman Who Refuses to Check Just One Box

Amanda Yoa is many things: comedian, podcaster, motivational speaker, content creator, life coach, mom, wife, and deli owner. But what makes her truly revolutionary isn’t her impressive collection of job titles—it’s her refusal to be defined by any single one of them.

“I don’t check boxes,” she says with the confidence of a woman who’s already watched her kids rummage through her purse and find an ancient, unwrapped mint, so really, what’s left to fear?

As we hit that sweet spot in life where we’ve accumulated enough wisdom to know better but still make questionable decisions after two glasses of wine, Amanda’s philosophy feels like that first sip of coffee in the morning: life-giving and absolutely necessary.

When Philly Meets Funny: The Birth of Pam from Port Richmond

If you’ve been scrolling Instagram between loading the dishwasher and pretending to listen to your partner talk about fantasy football, you’ve likely stumbled upon Amanda’s alter ego: Pam from Port Richmond.

Pam is every woman who’s ever thought, “If I could just say what I’m actually thinking right now…” She’s the inner voice we all silence when someone asks if their new haircut looks good (it doesn’t) or when our kid’s teacher suggests a “fun family project” that requires sixteen specialty craft items (there’s nothing fun about that, Brenda).

With her distinctive Philly accent and zero-filters approach to life, Pam could be your aunt, your neighbor, your godmother, or that woman at the supermarket who’s not afraid to tell you you’re selecting avocados all wrong. She’s every woman who’s lived long enough to know that life’s too short for uncomfortable bras and fake niceties.

What’s fascinating is that women far beyond the Philadelphia area are finding themselves in Pam. Because let’s be honest—whether you’re in Port Richmond or Portland, by the time you’ve hit your thirties, there’s a little Pam inside all of us, dying to break free.

The Pandemic Pivot We All Felt in Our Souls

Remember 2020? When we were all making sourdough starters we’d never use and wondering if we’d ever see the bottom half of our colleagues’ bodies again? Amanda was right there with us, re-evaluating everything.

Already established as a life coach, Amanda found herself juggling small children at home while supporting her husband’s business. Like many of us who suddenly found ourselves staring at our living room walls wondering, “Is this it?”, Amanda was searching for purpose and authentic living.

The difference? While some of us just switched to elastic waistbands and called it personal growth, Amanda leaned into comedy as a vehicle for her message and found her true calling.

Becoming Your Own Hype Woman: Life Lessons from Amanda

Amanda describes herself as a “Hype Woman from Philly,” and honestly, who among us couldn’t use a personal hype woman at this stage of life? Someone to say, “Yes, those jeans still look great!” or “Your presentation was fire!” or even just “You remembered to buy toilet paper before you ran out—you’re crushing this adult thing!”

When we asked about the meaning behind this moniker, Amanda dropped wisdom that deserves to be embroidered on a throw pillow: “Live for you and have no regrets. The haters will always be there watching from the cheap seats.”

For women who’ve spent decades wondering if we’re doing it right—parenting, career, relationships, self-care, that new TikTok dance—this is the gospel we need. Amanda insists that judgment says more about the judge than the judged. When people criticize your authentic self, it’s usually because they lack the courage to embrace their own.

“Unzipped with Amanda Yoa”: The Podcast That Gets It

Amanda hosts the three-time award-winning podcast “Unzipped with Amanda Yoa” which might be what you wish you could do with your uncomfortable shapewear after a long workday, but actually represents something deeper.

The podcast name evolved over time, much like our relationship with high-heeled shoes (from “these are cute!” to “these are instruments of torture” in about four hours flat). Amanda initially planned purely inspirational content, but her “aha moment” led her to steer into comedy lane.

“It’s about listening to that whisper inside of you,” she explains. You know the one—it’s the voice that says “You deserve better” or “Life’s too short” or sometimes just “Order the dessert.”

On “Unzipped with Amanda Yoa,” Amanda tackles topics that hit home: career challenges, motherhood struggles, marriage dynamics, and the general chaos of everyday existence. It’s like she’s been reading your group texts.

Rooted in Reality: Port Richmond Pride

Despite her growing success, Amanda remains firmly planted in Port Richmond, where she continues to run her deli. (Between us, don’t you wonder when she sleeps?)

For those of us who sometimes feel like we’re living in the car between soccer practice and Target runs, Amanda’s deep community connections remind us that there’s value in putting down roots. She cherishes neighborhood traditions like community cleanups, food carts, and the water ice man making his rounds—those authentic experiences that ground us when life feels like it’s spinning too fast.

The Authenticity Challenge: Your New Self-Care Ritual

We’ve all tried the trendy self-care rituals—face masks that promise to make us look 25 again, meditation apps we use for three days before forgetting the password, exercise programs that result in buying expensive equipment that becomes a very fancy clothes hanger.

Amanda proposes something more radical: authenticity as the ultimate form of self-care.

She makes the perfect analogy that by our thirties and forties, we’ve perfected: “Life is tough enough, but we live our lives wearing tight jeans to impress others.” (And if you’ve ever spent a day in too-tight jeans, you know that’s no way to live.)

Her solution? Create space to “unzip” and unwind. Stop performing. Start living. For women spending their days shape-shifting between professional powerhouse, nurturing mom, sexy partner, supportive friend, and the seventeen other roles we play, this message isn’t just refreshing—it’s revolutionary.

Your Permission Slip

This Mother’s Day, as you’re running around making sure everyone else feels special (while secretly hoping someone remembered to plan something for you), Amanda Yoa has a different gift to offer: permission to be yourself.

Not the filtered, perfected, “I totally have my life together” version of yourself.

The real you. The one who sometimes feeds her kids cereal for dinner. The one who has passionate opinions about which Real Housewives franchise is superior. The one who occasionally hides in the bathroom just to get five minutes of peace.

Amanda—and Pam from Port Richmond—are here in their fully unzipped selves, inviting you to loosen your metaphorical tight jeans and let your authentic self breathe. Because at this stage of life, we’ve earned the right to be comfortable in our own skin.

After all, the only thing better than finding the perfect pair of stretchy pants is finding the freedom to be your gloriously imperfect self.

Amanda Yoa’s podcast “Unzipped with Amanda Yoa” is available on all major streaming platforms. Follow her and Pam from Port Richmond on Instagram for daily doses of the inspiration-meets-reality check you’ve been craving. Moreover, you can also find her full bio and services on AmandaYoa.com.

Flavorful Finds: How DiBruno Bros. in Wayne, Pa. is Redefining Specialty Foods

by TheSpot November 18, 2023
written by TheSpot

As we scroll through social media, how many of us stop and go through all the photos of that friend who is away in Europe or some far off land?  We’re studying the backgrounds, what they’re eating, and who they’re with.  If we’re not on vacation but dining somewhere special, how many of us are guilty of taking photos of our dishes and posting them?  Guilty.  It almost seems so normal that we no longer question why.  We believe the answer is that we are living in the moment and want to share our moment.

We visited Di Bruno Bros. Wayne and if we’re betting on a dining experience that is ethereal, we’re holding the winning hand on Bar Alimentari.  The Italian word alimentari simply means food.  The simplicity of the word alludes to its’ elegance.  The display of curated wine, charcuterie, and gourmet cheeses demonstrates only a portal of what Bar Alimentari has to offer and how they’re redefining specialty foods.

Upon entering the establishment, you’re immediately transported to a Parisian cafe.  An arch wrapped with a garland of lemons and twinkling lights brings to life a Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Small tables and wicker chairs sketch a picture of good conversation and great wine.  Yet, there is beginning to the journey.  Their famous cheeses are on display with a cheese professional ready to greet you with their expertise.  Almost immediately approaching the cheese counter, Evan greeted us with samples of cheese as he explained the textures and flavors.  Jason Asher, Director of Di Bruno Bros. Wayne and Ardmore, took us on a tour of the Wayne location to show us all it has to offer.  He explained that cheesemongers receive continuing education on the most up to date cheeses and source the best of the best.

DI BRUNO BROS. SPECIALTY FOODS

One of the standout features is their gift basket station.  They have the option to either create your own personalized package with the help of a sales associate or order specialty gift baskets online.  A genius amenity that does away with the stress of gift giving.

What you may not know is that Di Bruno Bros. offers their own label wine which the Di Bruno Bros. team actually collaborates with winemakers to develop unique brands.  Erica Field, Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer, added that they went as far as crushing the grapes to get the all around experience of winemaking.  Their wines are either sold separately or can also be paired with other various items for events or special occasions at their establishments.  For the coffee lovers, they’ve partnered with artisan coffee roaster, Caffe Umbria, which serves up a truly unique Italian coffee experience.  Popular opinion says that coffee and wine make great gift basket accessories for the holidays!

The wine section is as large and impressive as any wine and spirit chain if not moreso.  Jason explained to us that great care is taken on selecting wines that are not sold elsewhere.  The idea is exclusivity.  At Bar Alimentari, don’t be deceived by the modest decor.  It is a full service restaurant.  The atmosphere is meant to be relaxed and lively with great food and conversation. Full sections such as Arrosto, Pane Dolce, and Chef’s Counter  are dedicated stations serving the highest quality meats, roast, prepared dishes, and  sweet delicacies.  The patron is participating in a culinary adventure.

Foccaceria (pronounced Fo-katcha-reeha), is a new sandwich station now serving large made-to-order sandwiches using their famed artisanal meats and cheeses we have all come to love.  You must top off any meal with dessert.  Di Bruno Bros. is one of the few select establishments that carry Venchi Fine Chocolates from Turin, Italy and Philadelphia staple Isgro Pastries.  Are you looking for a nutritious meal that can be quickly prepared during your busy days or nights? Consider trying out their cast iron pizza program or try Di Bruno Bros. to go meals, which are designed to cater to the needs of busy parents and individuals with hectic schedules. These meals can be easily heated up and enjoyed at any time, providing you with a wholesome and satisfying dining experience.

Di Bruno Bros. Philadelphia is a valued and trusted name where generations of families filled their tables with highest quality cheese and charcuterie.  Di Bruno Bros.Wayne is not just an eatery or dining establishment.  Today, it is a gathering place to replenish your senses and signal “unwind.”  It is where we connect with conversation, delectable bites, and chill wines.

Di Bruno Bros. brings trusted old world traditions to the new world of taste.  Lastly, the outdoor patio is a congenial option on warm days and early evenings.

It’s time to uncover Di Bruno Bros. Wayne, PA.  It is our choice to catch up with a friend, shop in nearby plazas, or unwind after the work day. Charm, elegance, and taste are qualities that are tried and true and never go out of style.   Visit their location at 385 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087.

AFTER HOURS AT DiBRUNO BROS. Eat, Drink, and Make Memories

by TheSpot August 30, 2023
written by TheSpot
DiBruno Bros. After Hours

Stepping in the original location of Di Bruno Bros. is like walking into a black and white photo of Old World Philadelphia.  It is a nod to an early twentieth century scene of butchers, fishermen, and cheese mongers weaving through 9th Street with wheelbarrows of their latest catches or kills.  After 80 years of business, the DiBruno Bros. brand has evolved from a specialty store to a Philadelphia culinary enterprise.  The brand is now in major supermarket chains, several store locations, plus events and catering.  We recently met with Tommy Amorim, Assistant Store Team Leader and After Hours Director, to learn more about its history and in some ways a true Philadelphia story.

After Hours is an in store customer experience like no other.  First however, we learn Tommy’s role starting with the original store.  Tommy’s grandfather, Giuseppe Abruzzo, worked for Di Bruno Bros. for 62 years alongside owners Danny and Joe.  DiBruno Bros. was more or less a cheese store along other specialty stores on 9th Street.  After Tommy’s grandfather’s passing in 2008, Tommy decided that he wished to step into the work of his grandfather.  We asked the question if cheese mongering is a lost art form.   Tommy acknowledges that there are less and less cheese professionals due to pre-packaged cheeses however abides by traditional cheese making methods.  Today, Tommy is part of the 2nd generation of the Di Bruno Bros. family.

So what exactly is After Hours?  DiBruno Bros.has various locations in the Philly region.  After Hours offers a group of 10 or more people a two hour shopping experience of curated cheeses, charcuterie plates, and wine pairings.  Cheesemongers use their creativity and inspiration to come up with 6 to 7 plates.  Tommy trusts his team to apply their passions and imagination in creating these special platters and pairings.

We asked Tommy what he hopes are the takeaways after this experience.  He hopes that those who participate not only leave enriched nutritionally, but also mentally and spiritually.  If a client has any dietary restrictions, their mongers curate boards to fit customers’ needs.

For Tommy, this is not just a trendy new foodie job but a purpose of sharing and experiencing the best cheeses of the world and passing it on to customers. It is easy to see Tommy is passionate about  taking these time honored traditions and revitalizing them.  The result is a fully immersive experience of tradition, history, and the palate.

How did After Hours come about?  Surprisingly the idea stemmed from a little humor stemming from customer comments wishing they could stay locked up in the store after closing.  The illuminating brain child of Tommy of pairing cheese with wine gave life to the After Hours Program.  In addition to these specialized pairings, the feature includes a 20% discount off all items, plus a store gift either in the form of a tote bag or something comparable.   During the shopping experience, Tommy encourages guests to indicate to a store professional whatever meets the eye.  They will then cut the items for you or  make them available for purchase.

It is no secret that Philadelphia has one of the best culinary scenes in the country.  As we become sophisticated in taste, experience, and skills, curiosity does not slow down.  We want to know more about where our food is sourced, we want to discern taste, age, notes and so forth.  Di Bruno Bros. found a way to meet that curiosity.

So who can participate in After Hours?  Pretty much anyone for any type of celebration.   Whether it is a special occasion or simply a celebration of food and drink, mongers treat each instinct with care. As for returning guests, their mongers make sure they don’t repeat the same presentation.  What is the process of curating a group?   According to Tommy, the professionals base their presentation on current selections of cheese and pairings that invigorate the staff and spark their creative outlets. If you’re curious about entering this line of work, well Tommy is all too happy to set you on the right path on how to get started.

So if you’re looking for a memorable occasion, After Hours DiBruno Bros. is an encompassing culinary adventure that takes you on a trip of the best international goodies.  The enthusiasm, history, and inspiration make it a true Philadelphia story.

Look for Part 2 of our feature in the coming weeks of our Di Bruno Bros. Wayne location adventure as they continue to provide a one of a kind experience!

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA – Winter traffic in the streets of Italian Market, an area of South Philadelphia featuring delis, grocery shops, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, cheese shops, butcher shops, many with an Italian influence.

A Sweet Way to Wellness and Better Health

by TheSpot July 18, 2022
written by TheSpot

Trends in wellness and beauty are perpetually evolving and advancing.  From the ancient Egyptians to the ancient Romans, thermal springs, mud baths, and ointments are as ancient as civilization.

A new method of wellness has appeared showing to be  scientific as well as cerebral.  Himalayan salt caves, in the last few years, have  gained popularity.  We recently visited one to find out why.  First however, what are the health benefits of visiting a salt cave?  Respiratory Health, Better Sleep, and Skin Health are the main themes here.

So where did the concept come from?  According to the Salt Therapy Association website, Salt Therapy was first developed in Poland in 1839 by Dr. Feliks Boczkowski.  After studying salt miners and improvements to their respiratory ailments, he went on to develop a health facility devoted to salt therapy.

What exactly is a salt cave?  Today, wellness spas dedicate rooms made of Himalayan Salt and or include salt lamps.    How can salt rooms actually work towards health benefits?  Halogenerators release salt particles in the air at a comfortable temperature and absorb irritants and toxins allowing you to breathe better.

So to discover more about these health benefits, we visited The Salt Cave in Newtown, PA.  We paid for an hour session to experience for ourselves this new phenomenon.  Prior to booking the appointment, we were advised to drink lots of water as you may feel thirty even for a day or two after.  We were led  to a salt room with low lighting and lounge chairs.  The room really added to other worldly ambiance.  Think of galaxies and the universe.   At the start of our session, our instructor gave a short tutorial on what the experience would entail.  A box of tissues was available for nasal drainage that was expected.  As an allergy sufferer, this was much appreciated.  Although we went for the basic salt room session, they did offer a session plus reflexology.  Being this was our first visit and not sure entirely of the experience, adding  reflexology to the package would make it a much holistic experience.  Nevertheless, after one of hour of breathing comfortably in a chair, listening to relaxing music, and feeling a light spray of pure minerals, we were satisfied.  Breathing was much better, tense muscles melted away, and yes we felt a glow.  I did not feel any type of excessive thirst however speaking to others, they were varied in that regard.

Would we do this again?  The answer will be yes. We think it will be worth your while to visit various wellness spas offering salt therapies to find the best that suits your needs.  This may be a fad or it may be not.  Either way, the benefits of self care will always rise above once you dedicate prioritizing yourself.
